PG Strides for Spectrum


The PG Strides for Spectrum Fun Run & Carnival is next Saturday, Sept. 18th, from 9am-1pm at the doTERRA International parking lot, 549 S. 800 W. Pleasant Grove. We are excited about this event and hope you'll join us in supporting our school.

EVENT DETAILS:

Fun Run - Start at 9 am. Please be at the starting line by 8:55 am. Medals and Strides Bag will be given to Fun Run participants at the finish line. See route map.

Carnival - 9am-1pm. Bounce Houses, DJ Doug, UVU's Willy the Wolverine, Face Painters, Balloon Animals, Food and Carnival Games with prizes!

Vendors - 9am-1pm. Our Vendors and Resource Providers are excited and ready to answer your questions. Each booth will have a game to play! Stop by and say hello to the Autism Council of Utah, UTA, Live Empowered, Emotion Commotion, Unwrapped, Elevation Behavioral Science Services, House of Geekiness, SPARK for Autism, Utah Parent Center, Family to Family Network, Columbus Community Center, Intervivos, PLLC., Sweet Sassafras Nails by Cheri, Gabb Wireless, Liquid, Utah Assistive Technology Team. Mystery Boxes - Instead of a silent auction we're going with the carnival theme and making a game out of it! Donate and take home a Mystery Box valued between $30-$100! Each Mystery Box contains one or multiple gift cards and/or products from the following; Malawi's Pizza, Provo Beach, Kicks & Giggles, Hapa's Hawaiian BBQ, 3B Yoga, R&R BBQ, Seven Brothers, Nu Skin, Del Sol, and more! If your business would like to donate please let me know. ALL DONATIONS can be counted towards your Volunteer Hours ($10 = 1 hour).

ONLINE REGISTRATION:

Why do participants need to register? 1-Agree/Sign Injury Waiver, 2-Agree/Sign Media Release, 3-Agree/Sign Bounce House Waiver, 4-Contact Info for contact tracing if needed, 5-Head Count so we can be prepared for a great event.

Register Online and buy carnival tickets in advance to save yourself some time on event day. Registered participants/families can pick up their wristbands and carnival tickets from the front office Sept. 13th-16th. Wear your wristband to the event and we'll know you have already registered. FUN Run Participants MUST be registered online before Sept 16th at midnight. Online registration and ticket sales will close Sept. 16th at midnight. Day-of Carnival Registration and Carnival Tickets will be available at the Ticket Booth.

Carnival Ticket Pricing: 1 Ticket = .50 cents, 12 Tickets = $5, 25 Tickets = $10, 60 Tickets = $20

Number of Tickets Per Game/Activity: Games/Bounce Houses 1-3 tickets, Face Painting 8, Balloon Animal 4, Food 6-8.

These generous donors want our Spectrum Academy families and community members to enjoy a great event while raising money for our school. Together they have taken care of all event expenses so that 100% of donations (Registrations, Online Donations, Ticket Sales, etc.) will go directly to our school! Any amount you spend at the event will be a donation and can be counted towards your Volunteer Hours ($10 = 1 hour).
