DonorsChoose is a nonprofit classroom funding site for public school teachers.

Teachers create projects that include a detailed list of items they need to fulfill the project, DonorsChoose approves them, people from around the world donate, and when they are fully funded DonorsChoose purchases the items and mails them directly to the school!

Often, there will be a "2X" MATCH icon next to project listings. This means that a corporate donor has offered to match every donation made to that project. Your donation is then, doubled, tripled or more!
